I posted earlier today (nothing controversial) on the whiteboard and now I'm logged in but "unable to access" when trying to reply to any threads or star new ones.

I wonder if they are doing load balancing with the database servers and they are not optomized.

that or I wonder if they are rotating standard maintenance across the servers only knocking a portion of users off (liek breaking down the servers to house regional users based on log in times - then take them off when not expected to be online.

Each coast it is past midnight - that is usually a good time to perform maint on servers - not the normal times for a majority of people to be on in that time zone.
